Amarillo Crime Stoppers is still asking for the public’s help on the homicide from Sunday, July 27th. At 4:18am, APD officers were called to the area of NW 2 and N Adams on a possible shooting. Dispatch received numerous calls from people stating shots were being fired in the area. They were also advised there was at least one victim in a vehicle who had been shot. When officers arrived, they located one male victim inside a vehicle with an apparent gunshot wound and he was deceased. Victim was identified as 18-year-old Damarian Grear. Homicide was called to the scene to investigate. If you have information on this case, call Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 806-374-4400. Amarillo Crime Stoppers needs your help locating a black 2011 Ford Taurus SHO for this week's "Stolen Auto Day". This vehicle was reported stolen from the 6000 block of Brianna Dr. on Tuesday, July 29th. The vehicle should display Texas Tag, BGW-8723, and the last six of the VIN are 119330. If you know the location of this vehicle or know who stole it, call Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 806-374-4400.
