Amarillo Crime Stoppers is asking for help on an Aggravated Assault case for this week’s “Crime of the Week”. On February 18th, after 2AM, Canyon Police were notified of a stabbing victim on Southridge Dr. When officers arrived they found the victim, male age 48, with wounds to his abdomen. He was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Due to the victim’s condition at the time, very limited information has come in on this case. This is believed to have come from a road rage incident that happened on Soncy, (FM 2590) between Amarillo and Canyon. Amarillo Crime Stoppers needs your help locating a 2015 silver BMW X5 for this weeks "Stolen Auto Day". This vehicle was reported stolen from the 3300 block of SE 14th on Thursday February 16th. The vehicle should display Texas license, RTJ-1369, and the last six of the VIN are P10968. If you know the location of this vehicle or know who stole it, call Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 806-374-4400.
